Did you know that the most colorful earrings in our collection don't come from a factory, but are born right here in our LilaLab? From sketch to sparkling final result: we do (almost) everything ourselves. And we think that's the best part of it all.

From pencil line to statement piece

Every earring begins with an idea. Sometimes it's a scribble on a coffee-stained piece of paper, sometimes a miniature drawing in the margins of a sketchbook. We draw inspiration from shapes in nature, vintage patterns, playful silhouettes, or simply something we stumbled upon that day. Then we fine-tune the design on the computer until it's just right: the shape, the thickness, the hook, the balance.

3D printing with a green heart

Once the design is finished, our 3D printer gets to work. It's always ready in our colorful lab, next to a stack of prints, markers, and a radio that plays a little too often. We print our earrings from PLA – a plant-based bioplastic made from corn starch. That means no oil, no plastic soup, but a sustainable base for colorful creations.

PLA feels light, is strong enough for everyday use, and combines well with color and shine. This allows us to create striking, cheerful, yet sustainable earrings that are just a little bit different.

Mix & match, limited edition

Because we do everything ourselves—and often only make a few pairs at a time—many earrings are limited edition. Sometimes there's just one pair, sometimes a small group in different colors. That makes them extra special.
