Measuring instructions for your custom mat

1. Measure the space where the mat will be placed.
   Use a tape measure and measure both the length (vertical) and the width (horizontal) in several places. Floors and walls are rarely perfectly straight.
2. Note the largest measurements.
   Always choose the widest width and the longest length. Round up to the nearest whole centimeter – so 186.4 cm becomes 187 cm.
3. Please take production shrinkage into account.
   Our mats may shrink slightly during production. Therefore, we recommend ordering your mat 3 cm larger. You can easily cut it to size at home with a utility knife.
4. Recessed or loose on the floor?
   Sunk into the floor: order the mat slightly larger and trim the corners or edges yourself.
   Loose on the floor: ordering the exact size is fine. Small shrinkage won't be noticeable.
5. How is the print running?
   Our mats are always aligned with the horizontal dimension – so the print runs across the width of the mat.
   Maximum horizontal size: 1000 cm
   Maximum vertical dimension: 198 cm
   If you want the print to run lengthwise, reverse your measurements: enter the desired length as the horizontal measurement.
